In a word, yes! No, no, no. That’s not quite right. You don’t “need” hand built wheels but if you want to add a custom quality to your bike, a set of hand built wheels is a very wise investment. Not only are our wheels often unique, they are 100% serviceable and come with a lifetime spoke breakage guarantee.
Our wheels are guaranteed to offer a performance benefit over your old wheels. Lighter. Faster. Shinier?! The other main benefit to a pair of our wheels is their serviceability. With easily replaceable bearings, off-the-shelf spokes and ever serviceable freehub bodies they will keep you rolling faster for longer.

We love Stan’s and DT rims for MTB builds. As with all of our hand built wheels, we will be led by you with your choice and help you tailor it to exactly what you need.
