Service My Turbo Trainer?
It is imperative to have your smart trainer serviced every so often. The modern smart trainers take an absolute hammering over the winter months whilst we’re tucked away in our garages pedalling away! Whether you’re a Zwifter, Trainer Road user or a Wahoo Systm “Wahooligan”, you need to get your trainer serviced periodically.
We’ve built up a depth of knowledge over the years especially with the Wahoo range, servicing everything from the Kickr Snap through to the latest Kickr V6. We can replace belts on the Kickr Climb too.
Common problems include:
- Worn belts
- Vibration/play in flywheel
- Worn bearings
- Excessive noise
- Dead power unit
- Broken power socket
- Worn flywheel shaft
- Broken drive shaft

Smart Trainer Repairs
As well as routine smart trainer servicing, we can also carry out specific repairs to your smart trainer. Whether your power supply has died, or the freehub bearings have worn out we can carry out these simple jobs outside of a full trainer service.
We have our own machine shop where we can machine new shafts, tensioners, pulleys and flywheels as needed.
Other turbo trainers
We also service other trainers, with experience with Tacx (especially the Flux range), Elite and Saris. While certainly not as experienced with these we are happy to offer a “no fix no fee” type service with these brands. Please get in touch for further information.
Common faults with the Tacx range are slipping/damaged belts, bent tension arms and worn/noisy bearings. Each trainer is stripped down and fully assessed before we work out the best plan of action.
Where possible we use the best quality belts and bearings and try to match them to the factory fitted brands such as NSK bearings and Gates belts.
