Bomber Bikeworks is run by self confessed bike obsessive, Greg Lancaster (me). I have been riding bikes competitively for 2 decades having competed in cross country, downhill, cyclo cross, time trial and road racing. I graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering fom Exeter University in 2002. I worked in engineering for several years but by 2007, I decided it wasn’t the life for me. A random sequence of events landed me a temporary position at Terry’s Cycles (great shop, knowledgable staff), I then worked as a mechanic at the now defunct Zero G Cycles in Downend. It was there I thought up the idea of Cycle Therapist which I launched in 2008.
By 2015 I had done all I could with the business and needed to expand and diversify. A premises was sought and Bomber Bikeworks was born.
I continue to race and train hard despite being the wrong side of 35, in fact I type this from training camp in Majorca, getting some hard miles in before the race season kicks off in earnest. Bikes will always be a massive part of my life – I hope I can pass on my passion and enthusiasm for the sport to colleagues and customers alike.
